Club Info

The Kitchener Soccer Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization governed by a Board of Directors and managed by an administrative team. The Club was established in 1967 and welcomes players of all skill levels, who play in both recreational and competitive programs. Kitchener SC is committed to providing accessible, affordable and high quality soccer programs in a safe, professional, and respectful environment. Our competitive teams compete under the Kitchener TFC crest as an affiliate of Toronto FC.

Today there are over 6,000+ registered soccer players in Kitchener, with an extended community of over 25,000 local enthusiasts. The City of Kitchener, sponsors and community partners also provide additional support for Kitchener SC and Kitchener TFC, to ensure the long-term growth, development and success of a strong, reputable program and vibrant community.

Our Mission “To build better people through soccer.”

We believe we have the power to initiate change through our soccer programs. By instilling the values associated with Development, Leadership, Success and Performance and most importantly the Golden Rule, we can help young people live healthy active lives and nurture a life-long passion for soccer.

Our Commitment to Success

KSC has identified 7 key pillars as the basis for building a strong, reputable Club with an emphasis on coaching and mentoring each individual child to be the best athlete and person he or she can be. These 7 pillars are reviewed annually to ensure the Club remains true to its mission and mandate, and focused on improvement.

The 7 pillars are:

  1. Coach Development
  2. Player Development
  3. Referee Development
  4. Administrative Effectiveness
  5. Quality of Facilities & Capacity Planning
  6. Relationships/Funding
  7. Community Involvement
