Scholarships
THE FRANCK HIVERT & TIM HART SCHOLARSHIPS
Two Scholarships of $2,500 each will be awarded annually – The Franck Hivert & Tim Hart Scholarships. The scholarships are open to all Kitchener SC players, Kitchener TFC players and Club Referees in good standing who will be entering a post-secondary institution in the of Fall 2026. Children of Kitchener SC and Kitchener TFC Staff, Executive, and Board of Directors are not eligible.
Eligibility
- A student entering their first year of studies who has been accepted, and is confirmed, for a full-time program at an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution commencing in the Fall of 2026.
- Participation in any sanctioned soccer-related activity at any level (i.e. playing, coaching, refereeing, etc.) within the Kitchener Soccer Club and/or Kitchener TFC for a minimum of one year, and is currently a registered member.
- Demonstrated leadership, good citizenship, character and volunteer participation in community activities in either soccer or other areas.
Other Information
- The Board of Directors will review all applications and award the scholarship to the individuals that have best met the above criteria, and provided the greatest contribution to the Club’s programs.
- Application materials will not be returned.
- Cheques will be provided directly to the individual.
- The decision of the Board of Directors is final.
